This month has been a busy one so far!   We got another new addition to our family this month…One of my best friends Sarah got a rotation at Emory doing physical rehabilitation so she is staying with us for the month of September. It’s like the good ole days of living in South Quad at U of M!   It’s been wonderful to spend time with her and I’m hoping that she will fall in love with Atlanta and the hospital and move here permanently! Brighton has loved having her here also since she takes him to the park for runs.

The nursery is coming along great also.  My mom finished the cherry blossom tree and is now working on window treatments – she’s so incredibly talented in arts and crafts and the room is really coming to life now.   I’ll post some pictures when it’s all complete.  I’m 30 weeks along and our little girl is weighing in at about 3 lbs and 3 oz.  She’s still breeched so hopefully she will making a move in the next few weeks and we saw on the ultrasound that she has lots of hair also!   I just feel so incredibly fortunate to be pregnant and Trevor and I are getting more excited by the day to meet her.  She has been doing rolls, kicks and jabs in my tummy and has been quite active…probably why my mom thinks she will be a dancer !  I have been reading books on childbirth and preparation as much as I can, but I know that most of learnings will be hands on when she comes!

Trevor has been busy with his new job and is really enjoying it. For those of you who don’t know he recently started working for Back9Links, a software company  (http://www.back9links.com/), where he focuses on client relations and product development.  He works from home and has set up a nice office at our house which seems to be working out great – plus, he gets to work in his pajamas (I’m jealous!).  Work has been going great for myself as well….On September 12th, I had my big work event  – Turner Fest. It’s a basically a big picnic at Centennial Olympic Park for employees and guests with food, entertainment, games and music.  My parents and some friends were able to make it out and enjoy the festivities also.  We had about 2,000 people in attendance.  Here are some pics from the event….
