This month baby Hosch and I have a few showers where we’ll be showered with love from family and friends. I feel so incredibly fortunate to have such an amazing family and group of friends in my life. My mom and Linda, her good friend and next door neighbor, held a luncheon at my mom’s house on Saturday the 19th, where all the ladies from the neighborhood came over. It was wonderful to get to know them and for them to share in the excitement of “Plum Blossom”, my mom’s nickname for our little girl. We had an amazing spread of homemade breads, treats and goodies. And for dessert, Linda and my mom even made a Baked Alaska cake with marshmallow topping, strawberries and angel food cake. They definitely knew the way to my heart! After we ate, they each shared their insight into raising a healthy and happy child and even put all their notes into a scrapbook for me to refer back to and add to later. It was an incredibly special day and was so thoughtful of Linda and my mom to organize. Here are some pictures from the day….
