The winter months have been rolling right along, although the weather hasn’t been the typical with temperatures in the 60′s. It’s been a tempting taste of the spring months to come. Maylee started officially potty training a few weeks ago and she has been doing great with few accidents. She also has been a parrot the past few weeks and has been really silly with using her imagination. Here is one recent conversation that cracks us up:
Maylee: “Daddy, Daddy….I want to go to the store!”
Daddy: “The store? How are you going to get to the store?”
Maylee: “My Bike.”
Daddy: “Oh, Ok….well, what are you going to get at the store?”
Maylee: “CAKE!”
Maylee got really good at singing Happy Birthday this month as she celebrated 3 of her friends birthdays – Sully, Kendrick and Grant – and she definitely got her fill of her favorite -cake and cupcakes. We started taking her to classes at Gymboree Play and Music which gives her a chance to run around wild with other kiddos. Maylee also has been having sleepovers with her good friends Grant and Sully. These are a double bonus because onse set of parents get to have a date night and the other get to have a fun sleepover with kiddos - double fun!
Baby Boy Hosch is doing great and is as active as he can be! I’m at about 26 weeks and he is weighing in at about 2 lbs. He’s always moving and grooving and we’re almost finished with his nursery. We’re still deciding on names although we have a top choice now….our goal is to have it chosen before we go to the hospital!
