Trevor ran the Atlanta marathon again this year and did great! Maylee and I went to cheer him on around mile 7/8 and then mile 21 /22. It was really cute because she got so excited to see him running…once she realized who it was! Congrats Trevor, for an amazing accomplishment…we’re so proud of you!

Trevor celebrated his very first Father’s Day this year. Maylee made him a sweet card with a poem, and painted a frame for him – such a talented little girl!

Trevor had an 8-mile trail run in Acworth, GA this Saturday. He finished 4th place in his age group- Go Trevor!!! Maylee was his biggest fan 
The Basement is Finally Finished September 29, 2009
After working on the basement on Saturdays for 8-10 weeks straight, I finally finished it in late August. Part of the motivation to finish it so quickly was to be ready for Amber’s friend Sarah to live there for the month of September while she attended a residency rotation at Emory here in Atlanta.I have to say that I am definitely most proud of this project because I can see the results and more importantly, we have 450sf more of usable space and another bathroom!
I ended up building a simple bar along the side wall to provide an additional seating area, and also built a little custom cabinet to hold the mini-fridge. The fridge looked kind of junky just sitting there alone in the corner. Other features include the spotlight for the dartboard, and the custom built corner entertainment unit for the TV, to save space.
I was starting to wonder what my next project would be … and then Amber quickly reminded me that it would be the birth of our daughter. I guess I should plan on being pretty occupied for the next 18 years or so …

Trevor celebrated his 32nd birthday this year (he likes to think he it was his 22nd….again….). We celebrated with his parents at one of his favorite restaurants, Fugo de Chao, followed with cake and presents. In Destin, we celebrated with close friends and then on his actual birthday we went out for Mexican! Here are some pictures from his birthday celebrations

Run Trevor Run! March 27, 2009
Trevor ran his third Marathon today, the ING Georgia Marathon. He didn’t win first place, but he came really close! His official time was 3:29:47, so he beat his goal of 3:30! Last year, he ran the same race and got a 3:40. Brighton and I went to cheer him on at Piedmont Park at mile 22 equipped with posters and a cowbell. Ryan who flew in for the weekend from Chicago to run the 1/2 Marathon also met up with us after he finished his race to cheer Trevor on….Ryan spiced up his cheering by transforming into his alter ego hick self. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Good job on the race you guys!
